
Andrew Morgan, MSc, CGeol, EurGeol
Andrew is a contaminated land professional with over 20 years of experience in the assessment, management and remediation of contaminated land within the UK and Europe.
Andy is a Chartered Geologist and holds the professional title European Geologist by the European Federation of Geologists. He has significant experience in most aspects of remediation engineering, including remediation options appraisal, feasibility testing, laboratory and field scale pilot testing, detailed full-scale design, installation and verification. He has extensive experience using remedial technologies at full-scale most notably Electric Resistive Heating, multiphase extraction, and Enhanced In-Situ Bioremediation at complex fractured bedrock sites. Andrew also has experience in site conceptualisation and environmental assessment.
Andrew was part of the transatlantic Geosyntec team which completed a STAR feasibility and pilot study in Belgium, an in-situ ISCO pilot in the uniquely challenging site conditions of Greenland and a complex laboratory EK-TAP pilot study using thermally activated persulphate. Andy is a guest lecturer on the Cardiff University Applied Environment Geology M.Sc. course.
