Emily is a graduate environmental geologist working on the assessment, management and remediation of contaminated land within the UK and Ireland. She received a first-class Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Geology from Durham University and a distinction in her M.Sc. Applied Environmental Geology degree from Cardiff University.
Emily joined Geosyntec after completing an internship in which her dissertation examined the challenges of Enhanced In-Situ Bioremediation in a complex fractured bedrock site in Ireland and assisted in the field scale pilot testing of this technology. Emily continues to work on this challenging project gaining experience in high resolution site investigation, whilst also working on Environmental Due Diligence projects across the UK and Ireland.
Emily's particular interest areas include sustainability and biological remediation technologies such as EISB and phytoremediation.
