Graham has nearly 30 years' experience in environmental consulting in Ireland and the UK, and he has a background in civil and geotechnical engineering in New Zealand.
Graham specialises in the assessment and management of contaminated land and groundwater issues on industrial sites and landfills, and in the development and implementation of remediation action plans. He worked for URS for almost 20 years in the UK and Ireland, managing their Soil and Groundwater business in Ireland for a number of years during the 2000s. He has managed Geosyntec's Irish operations since 2010.
Graham has managed or directed numerous complex multi-phase or multi-site projects that involved Conceptual Site Model development, remedial strategy development and/or implementation of remediation action plans across the UK & Ireland. He has managed a number of site investigations and remediation projects on active pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing sites, often involving groundwater impact by chlorinated and other solvents.
Graham was a member of the Geosyntec team that developed the 2013 guidance document for the Irish EPA on the management of contaminated land and groundwater at EPA licensed sites. He has also delivered training sessions to EPA inspectors on CSM development, environmental risk assessment and remediation techniques.
