Mark Harris is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist with more than 30 years of experience in contaminated land and geo-environmental projects, working for industrial clients and developers in the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia.
Mark has managed and directed a wide range of large-scale, complex, chemical and manufacturing plant site decommissioning, demolition and/or remediation programmes. Projects have included contaminated land and geotechnical investigations, remediation and civil construction across industry sectors, such as waste management, chemical, pharmaceutical, metal, food and drink, plastics, oil and gas, manufacturing and power generation.
Mark’s experience extends to technical and environmental due diligence, asbestos survey and removal programmes, investigation of contaminated building fabric, site permit surrender, plant decommissioning and demolition. Mark has also designed, scoped, specified, procured subcontractors via competitive tendering, managed and supervised projects on behalf of clients.
