Rhian Lynes, MSc, FGS

Rhian is an environmental geologist with experience in contaminated land site investigation and remediation of sites across the UK. Rhian previously worked for a remediation contractor and has hands on experience with the planning and implementation of a variety of remediation schemes from former gas works, manufacturing facilities, fuel filling stations and landfills.

She has experience of compiling CL:AIRE Definition of Waste Code of Practice Materials Management Plans (DoW CoP MMPs) for large scale earthworks projects, and overseeing the implementation and tracking of materials on large scale groundworks construction projects.

Rhian is a fellow of the Geological Society of London, working towards Chartership, and a member of RemSoc. She is a Construction Ambassador, visiting schools to talk about careers utilising environmental science in the construction industry, and a STEM Ambassador delivering interactive sessions to KS2 pupils on the rock cycle and fossils.
